Dr. Kyle E. Kingsley, age 50, serves as Co-Executive Chair of the Board. He is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and founder of Vireo, where he has held roles including CEO and Chairman (July 2014 to February 2023), Executive Chairman (February 2023 to December 2024), and Co-Executive Chairman since December 2024. He has been Medical Director of Lite Medical PLLC since June 2024. Dr. Kingsley founded Clinical Scribes LLC and MedMacros LLC and holds degrees from the University of Minnesota.
John Mazarakis, age 49, is Co-Executive Chair of the Board and CEO since December 2024. He co-founded Chicago Atlantic Group, LP in April 2019 and has served as Executive Chairman of Chicago Atlantic Real Estate Finance, Inc. since December 2021. He has also been a director of Chicago Atlantic BDC, Inc. and Cansortium, Inc., with over 20 years of experience in real estate, retail, and hospitality.
Tyson Macdonald, age 51, has been Chief Financial Officer since December 2024. His prior roles include Managing Partner at TrueRise Capital, CEO of Nova Net Lease REIT, CFO of Cloud Cannabis, and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Acreage Holdings. He has served as a director of Avant Brands Inc. since March 2024 and has over 20 years of experience in strategy and investment.
Amber H. Shimpa, age 47, is President and CEO of Minnesota. Sean M. Apfelbaum, age 37, is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
