Stamatios Tsantanis is the founder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and a board member of Seanergy. He has led the company since 2012 and served as Interim Chief Financial Officer from 2013 to 2018. Tsantanis has experience in shipping and finance dating back to 1998. He holds a Master of Science degree from Bayes Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Piraeus. He serves on the board of Breakwave Advisors LLC and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Stavros Gyftakis is the Chief Financial Officer and a board member of Seanergy. He has held the CFO position since 2017 and has over 20 years of experience in shipping finance. Gyftakis holds two Master of Science degrees, one from Bayes Business School and another from Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Christina Anagnostara is a board member and Chairman of United’s Audit and Nominating Committees. She served as Seanergy’s Chief Financial Officer from 2008 to 2013 and has over 27 years of experience in maritime and business sectors. Anagnostara is a Managing Director at AXIA Ventures Group, studied Economics in Athens, and is a Certified Chartered Accountant. Ioannis Kartsonas is a board member, Chairman of United’s Compensation Committee, and a member of the Nominating Committee. He also serves on Seanergy’s board and is Principal and Managing Partner of Breakwave Advisors LLC. Kartsonas has been active in finance and commodities trading since 2000 and was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Carlyle Commodity Management from 2011 to 2017.
