Amir Adnani, age 47, has served as Chairman and Director since August 23, 2019. He is the founder, President, CEO, and Director of Uranium Energy Corp (UEC) since January 2005, and founder and Co-Chairman of GoldMining Inc. since January 2011. He was a Director of Gold Royalty Corp. from November 2020 to March 2023. Adnani serves on the Board of Management of the World Nuclear Association since April 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
Scott Melbye, age 62, has been a Director since April 21, 2017, and President and CEO since October 8, 2019. He has over 41 years of experience in nuclear energy and has been Executive Vice President of UEC since September 2014. Melbye has held leadership positions at Uranium Participation Corporation, Kazatomprom, Uranium One Inc., and Cameco Corporation. He is President of the Uranium Producers of America and a past Chair of the World Nuclear Fuel Market. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University.
Vina Patel, age 60, has served as an Independent Director since October 23, 2019, and as Lead Independent Director since November 1, 2021. She chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Patel has been Director of Night Star Consulting Ltd. since July 2011 and has over 20 years of experience in capital markets, specializing in raising capital for mining companies, including uranium companies. She has held senior roles at Canaccord Genuity Corp., Westwind Partners (now Stifel Financial), and Haywood Securities Inc.
