Kanat Mynzhanov, age 42, is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. He served as CEO and director of Oxus Acquisition Corp. from February 2021 until its merger with Borealis Foods Inc. in February 2024, and has been a board member of Borealis Foods Inc. since that time. He founded Bellprescot Asset Management and Bellprescot Prime Fund, which focus on technology-driven public companies, and has advised on private equity transactions in fintech, mobility, and structured products. Previously, Mynzhanov was head of investments at Kazatomprom-Damu, a subsidiary of NAC Kazatomprom JSC, and held leadership positions in crude oil maritime transportation and consulting. He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Westminster.
Askar Mametov, age 42, is Chief Financial Officer and a director. He served as CFO of Oxus Acquisition Corp. from its inception until its business combination with Borealis Foods Inc. in February 2024. Mametov has over 15 years of executive experience in mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and transportation sectors, with expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and financial planning. He has been a director of Kaznedraproject LLP since 2019, was CFO of KM Gold Inc. from 2016 to 2019, financial controller of Sequa Petroleum Kazakhstan from 2014 to 2016, and held positions at Caspian Services Inc., Beeline Kazakhstan, and PetroKazakhstan Inc. He is a member and President of the Kazakhstan Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from KIMEP University.
Christophe Charlier, age 53, serves as a director and was an independent director of Oxus Acquisition Corp. from September 2021 until its business combination with Borealis Foods Inc. in February 2024.
