Officers & Directors
Sergio Stevanato, age 82, serves as Director and Emeritus Chairman of the Stevanato Group. He is the son of the company's founder, Giovanni Stevanato, and holds a law degree from the University of Ferrara (1969). He has spent his entire career within the family business and was awarded the Knight of Labor in 2007.
Franco Stevanato, age 52, is Director, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer. He is the son of Sergio Stevanato and graduated in Political Science from the University of Trieste in 1998. He completed an Advanced Management Program at Kellogg School of Management in 2015. Franco Stevanato served as CEO from 2010 to 2020, resumed the role in 2024, and has been Executive Chairman since 2021.
Alvise Spinazzi, age 52, is a Director. He graduated in Law from the University of Padua in 1997 and earned an LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law. He is qualified to practice law in New York and Italy and has worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Chiomenti. He co-founded SAT Studio Legale in 2007 and has been a board member since 2011.
Fabrizio Bonanni, age 79, is a Director. He holds a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Florence and completed postdoctoral research at MIT. He attended management programs at Northwestern University and Harvard University. Bonanni spent 25 years at Baxter International and held senior executive positions at Amgen from 1999 to 2013. He currently serves on the boards of Incog BioPharma Services and UCLA’s Technology Development Corporation, and is a member of the Advisory Board of InCube Labs.
Other executive officers include Marco Dal Lago, Chief Financial Officer, age 53; Mauro Stocchi, Chief Business Officer, age 59; Ugo Gay, Chief Operating Officer, age 61 (departed July 2025); and Riccardo Butta, President, Americas, age 60 (departed June 2025).
