Jurgi Camblong, Ph.D., M.B.A., has served as Chief Executive Officer and Director since March 2011. He is a co-founder of the company and was previously CEO of Gene Predictis SA. His academic background includes post-doctoral research at Oxford University and the University of Geneva. He is a member of the Advisory Council on Digital Transformation to the Swiss Government and a board member of the Swiss Biotech Association. He holds a Ph.D. in life sciences from the University of Geneva and an Executive M.B.A. from EPFL/HEC Lausanne. Ross Muken, B.Sc., has been President since November 2024. He previously served as CFO and COO of the company and was CFO of Click Therapeutics, Inc. He held positions as Senior Managing Director and Partner of Equity Research at Evercore/ISI Group, and roles at Deutsche Bank and Thomas Weisel Partners. He holds a B.Sc. in business administration from Boston University. George Cardoza, M.B.A., has been Chief Financial Officer since November 2024. He was formerly CFO and Head of Service Delivery at Biocartis and CEO of AccuraGen. He has held executive roles at NeoGenomics Laboratories and Quest Diagnostics. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University. Daan van Well, LL.M., M.B.A., joined the company as General Counsel in June 2019. He was appointed Chief Legal & Compliance Officer in March 2023 and Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer in November 2024. He has over 25 years of experience in legal, governance, and compliance roles. He is the founder and managing partner of SpringWorks Sàrl and has held legal positions at PwC Switzerland, served as corporate secretary and senior legal counsel of Royal Ahold N.V., and practiced law at Loyens & Loeff N.V. He holds an LL.M. in Dutch civil law from Utrecht University and an Executive M.B.A. from HEC Lausanne. Manuela da Silva Valente, B.A., has been Chief People Officer since January 2019. She has over 20 years of human resources experience, including leadership roles at IQVIA, where she was Global Senior Director of Human Resources, and positions at Outcome Sciences, Inc. She holds a B.A. in business administration from the Business Management School of Zurich and a Management & Human Resources Diploma from CEFCO Lausanne. Zhenyu Xu, Ph.D., has been Chief Scientific Officer since January 2021. He was previously Chief Technology Officer from May 2014 and led the technology team that developed SOPHiA DDM.
