Chaya Hendrick, age 68, has served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of SmartMetric since its founding in 2002. Prior to this, she was President and CEO of Smart Micro Chip, Inc. from 2000 to 2002, and held executive roles at Smarticom Inc. and FastEcom, Inc. between 1999 and 2001. From 1994 to 1998, she was an executive officer at Applied Computing Science in Australia and founded Asset Developments, a property development company in Australia.
Jay M. Needelman, CPA, age 56, has been Chief Financial Officer and a director of SmartMetric since 2007. He has over 32 years of experience in public accounting, founded his own accounting firm in 1992, and earned a degree from Florida State University in 1991.
Elizabeth Ryba, age 73, has been a director of SmartMetric since April 5, 2006. She has been Vice President of Marketing at the Design and Decoration Building in New York since 2015. Her previous roles include marketing positions at luxury home decor brands from 2006 to 2015, promotion director at Hearst Publishing from 2002 to 2005, consultant at Stratus Rewards Credit Cards from 2001 to 2004, marketing consultant for SpaFinder from 2000 to 2001, and work at Master Card from 1991 to 1999, where she launched a Smart Card in Australia. She holds an M.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois and a B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
