Richard D. O'Dell, age 64, serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director. He has held these roles since the company's IPO. O'Dell was Non-Executive Chairman of Saia's Board from April 2020 and served as Saia's CEO from December 2006 to April 2020. He joined Saia in 1997, holding various executive and financial positions, and has experience as a CPA. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas.
Amy Rice, age 47, has been President and Chief Operating Officer since August 2024. From 2011 to 2019, she held multiple roles at CSX, including Vice President positions in Coal and Intermodal Operations, Strategic Planning, Operations Planning and Performance, and Finance. Rice was CEO of Sy-Klone International from 2019 to 2023 and served on the board of Firan Technology Group Corporation from 2022 to 2025. She holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and an undergraduate business degree from Emory University.
Brad Wright, age 65, is Chief Financial Officer and Secretary, positions he has held since the IPO. He was CFO and board member of PMC Consolidated Holdings, LLC from September 2018 until its sale in August 2023, interim CFO of Eurasia Group from September 2017 to March 2018, and Executive Vice President, CFO, and Chief Administrative Officer of FBR & Co. from February 2008 to July 2017. Wright earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1982.
