In 2025, it generated $27.5 billion from retail automotive dealerships, $3.4 billion from retail commercial truck dealerships, and $922.6 million from commercial vehicle distribution and other operations. The retail automotive segment encompasses over 40 vehicle brands, with 71% of revenue derived from premium brands including Audi, BMW, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche, and 23% from volume non-U.S. brands such as Toyota and Honda. The company managed 365 retail automotive franchised dealerships worldwide, comprising 148 in the U.S. and 217 outside the U.S., primarily in the U.K. It also operated 15 used vehicle dealerships under the brand names CarShop in the U.S., Sytner Select in the U.K., and Penske Select in Australia. Its offerings include new and used vehicle sales, maintenance and repair services, third-party finance and insurance products, extended service contracts, aftermarket products, and collision repair services. Certain dealerships in the U.K. and Europe operate under an agency model, earning fees for facilitating sales without holding inventory. In 2025, the company sold and opened multiple retail automotive franchises in the U.S. and U.K. It also acquired Penske Motor Group, LLC, which includes Lexus and Toyota brand locations in California and Texas, notably Longo Toyota, the largest Toyota dealership in the U.S.
