Officers & Directors
Executive Team:
- Anders Hinsby (CEO): A biotech entrepreneur with more than a decade of executive experience in the life sciences industry, including in Novozymes and Symphogen.
- Thomas Blaettler (CBO): A veteran of the pharmaceutical industry with more than 20 years of commercial experience, including leadership roles at H. Lundbeck and Amgen.
- Guillaume Durand (CFO): A finance executive with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, including Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
- Kim Stratton (CMO): A physician and industry veteran with more than 20 years of clinical, regulatory and commercial experience, including at Shire and Alexion Pharmaceuticals.
- Anders Vadsholt (CTO): A biotech veteran with more than 15 years of experience in drug discovery and development, including at Zealand Pharma and Symphogen.
Board of Directors:
- Kim Stratton: Currently Orphazyme's Chief Medical Officer and formerly a member of the Board of Directors at Oxyrane.
- Jorgen Drejer: Co-founder of drug developer NeuroSearch, which has a focus on central nervous system disorders. A member of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences, Drejer is also the co-founder and CSO of biotech firm OxyPharma.
- Soren Tulstrup: Has more than three decades of executive experience, with senior management roles at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Nycomed; the latter company is where Tulstrup worked with current Orphazyme CEO Anders Hinsby.
- Bjarne Tellmann: A former corporate counsel and Chief Legal Officer at Pearson, Tellmann is also the Chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
- Bente Nielsen: Has held senior executive positions in Nordic Capital, Danske Capital, and Danske Bank. She is also a board member of Universitatsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf in Germany.
