Peter J. Kelly, age 57, has served as Chief Executive Officer since April 2021. He was previously President from 2019 to 2021, President of Digital Services from 2014 to 2019, and Chief Technology Officer from 2013 to 2019 at the company. He was also President and CEO of OPENLANE from 2011 to 2013 and co-founded OPENLANE in 1999.
Charles S. Coleman, age 54, has been Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer since November 2020 and Secretary since October 2019. He previously held the positions of Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 2017 to 2020, Assistant Secretary from 2015 to 2019, and Vice President and Assistant General Counsel from 2015 to 2017. His prior corporate law experience includes work at Krieg DeVault from 1999 to 2015 and Baker Donelson from 1996 to 1999.
James P. Coyle, age 45, has been Executive Vice President and President of Marketplace since July 2023. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer from 2021 to 2023. He served as CEO and board member of RealSelf, Inc. from 2020 to 2021 and as COO from 2019 to 2020. His previous roles include positions at Varsity Tutors LLC, Sears Holdings Corporation, and Amazon.com, Inc.
Bradley Herring, age 55, has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since May 2025. He held prior CFO roles at Enfusion, Inc. from 2022 to 2025, Shift4 Payments, Inc. from 2019 to 2022, Elavon, Inc. from 2016 to 2019, and Fiserv, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. He also held executive roles at Equifax Inc. from 2008 to 2013.
William C. Mitchell, age 43, has been President of AFC since April 2024. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of AFC from 2021 to 2024, Vice President of Business Development from 2018 to 2021, and Director of Strategic Initiatives – M&A from 2015 to 2018. His prior experience includes roles at ETC ProLiance Energy from 2005 to 2013, Citizens Energy Group from 2013 to 2015, and as an associate at Standard & Poor’s from 2004 to 2005.
J. Marty Nowlin, age 51, has been Executive Vice President of Human Resources since February 11, 2026. He was Senior Vice President of Human Resources from 2020 to 2026 and Vice President of Human Resources from 2016 to 2020.
