Hastings, Former Chairman, President & CEO: With over 30 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, Hastings has served in executive roles at multiple companies such as QLT Inc., Enzon Pharmaceuticals, and InterMune Inc. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
2. John Lewicki, Former Chief Scientific Officer: Lewicki has over 20 years of experience in drug discovery and development. Before joining Oncomed, Lewicki worked at Scios Inc., where he played a key role in the discovery and development of the drug Natrecor. He holds a Ph.D. in protein chemistry from the University of California, Davis.
3. Sunil Patel, Former Chief Financial Officer: Patel has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining Oncomed, he worked as the CFO of publicly-traded companies such as Intematix Corporation and Insulet Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
4. Robert Stagg, Former Vice President, Clinical Development: With over 20 years of experience in clinical development, Stagg has worked at several biotech and pharmaceutical companies such as MedImmune, Genentech, and Roche. He holds an M.D. from the University of Southern California and completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
5. Tuan Ha-Ngoc, Former Chairman of the Board: Ha-Ngoc was the co-founder and CEO of two biotech companies, Accium BioSciences and CoMentis before being appointed as Chairman of the Board of Oncomed. He holds a B.S. in bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
