Christina Ackermann, aged 61, has been a Director since March 2023 and is Chair of the Board of Directors of Virometix. She was Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and President of Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals at Bausch + Lomb from January 2022 to May 2023. Ackermann joined Bausch Health as Executive Vice President, General Counsel in 2016. Her prior roles include Senior Vice President, General Counsel for Alcon, and Global Head, Legal and General Counsel at Sandoz, both Novartis divisions. She holds an LL.B from Queen’s University and a postgraduate degree in EU competition law from King’s College London.
Lionel Carnot, aged 58, has been a Director since December 2017. He has been a Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital since 2012 and was Managing Director of Bay City Capital LLC from 2005 to 2020. His previous positions include Associate at The Pritzker Organization, Principal at Oracle Partners, Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, Product Manager at Eli Lilly & Co., Senior Consultant at Accenture, and sales and marketing roles at Rhone-Poulenc. Carnot serves on the board of Priothera.
