He has over 16 years of experience in metals and mining, including leading the IPO of Hochschild Mining Plc, managing acquisition strategies for Canadian mining assets, and reorganizing Volcan CompañÃa Minera S.A.A. Rosado has held positions as CEO and Deputy CEO of Volcan, Director and CFO at Hochschild Mining Plc, and Senior Project Manager at McKinsey & Company. José Carlos del Valle, age 56, based in Lima, Peru, has been Senior Vice President of Finance and Group CFO since October 2022 and CEO of Nexa Peru since November 2022. He has over 25 years of experience in finance and planning within metals and mining. His previous roles include CFO at CompañÃa Minera Antamina for nine years, CFO of Volcan CompañÃa Minera, and leadership positions at McKinsey & Company, Standard Chartered Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank. He holds a degree in Business Administration from California State University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Mauro Davi Boletta, age 65, based in São Paulo, Brazil, has been Senior Vice President of Smelting Operations and Commercial since 2016. He has over 30 years of operations experience and joined Votorantim Metais S.A. in 1986. Between 2010 and 2011, he was responsible for the design review of an aluminum smelter in Trinidad and Tobago. Boletta holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI) and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
Leonardo Nunes Coelho, age 48, based in Lima, Peru, has served as Senior Vice President of Mining Operations since 2017. He has over 20 years of experience managing mining operations focused on gold and zinc. Coelho spent 15 years at AngloGold Ashanti Ltd., starting as a trainee and advancing to lead mining operations and project expansions, including serving as General Manager of the Cuiabá mine.
