Arkady Volozh, age 62, serves as Executive Director and CEO of Nebius Group, a position he assumed in August 2024. He is the principal founder of Nebius Group and previously held the roles of founder, Executive Director, and CEO from 2000 to 2022. Volozh has a background in computer science and founded InfiNet Wireless and CompTek International, where he also served as CEO. He is a board member and investor in Face.com, Getir, and Neurosteer. He holds a degree in applied mathematics from the Gubkin Institute of Oil and Gas.
Ophir Nave, age 57, is Executive Director and COO of Nebius Group, appointed COO in May 2024 and Executive Director in August 2024. Nave was formerly Lead Partner at the Arnon, Tadmor-Levy law firm and served on its executive committee. His legal career includes positions at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a clerkship for Justice Theodor Or, and a lectureship at Tel Aviv University. He holds a Doctor of Juridical Science from Harvard Law School, an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Technion.
John Boynton, age 60, is Non-Executive Chairman of Nebius Group, a role he has held since 2016. He has been a non-executive director since 2000 and is a founding shareholder of Yandex. Boynton manages Firehouse Capital, Inc., which invests in early-stage technology and real estate, with a focus on the sports industry. He is also co-founder of Litix and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College.
Elena Bunina, age 49, joined the board as a Non-Executive Director in August 2024. She is a university professor, businesswoman, and mathematician with over 70 publications. Bunina serves as Head of Science and Education for Nebius Group and was formerly Head of Academic and Educational Services and General Director of the company’s former Russian subsidiary. She holds a Doctor of Science and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Moscow State University and is a professor at Bar Ilan University.
Arne Grimme, age 57, joined the board as a Non-Executive Director in August 2025. He is a partner at the De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek law firm since 2003 and heads its Corporate M&A practice. Grimme advises listed companies on corporate matters and cross-border transactions. He previously worked at Ernst & Young.
