Klaus Roewe, age 59, is Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Lilium, having joined the company in August 2022 and confirmed as CEO in October 2022. He previously spent 30 years at Airbus SE in roles including Head of Customer Services and Senior Vice President of Cabin & Cargo Engineering. Oliver Vogelgesang, age 56, has been Chief Financial Officer since January 2023. He was Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling from July 2021 and previously served as Managing Director Finance Airbus Germany and Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling of the A320 Family program. Vogelgesang studied aerospace engineering at TU Munich and holds an MBA from the University of Saarbrücken.
Daniel Wiegand, age 38, is Chief Engineer for Innovation and Future Programs since October 2022 and an executive director since September 2021. He was CEO from September 2021 to October 2022 and is a co-founder of Lilium. Wiegand holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universität München.
Dr. Thomas Enders, age 65, has been a Non-executive Director since September 2021 and was on the Lilium GmbH board from January 2021. Since 2023, he serves as an independent director on the Board of General Electric and is also on the boards of Linde plc, Lufthansa AG, and Helsing GmbH. Enders was CEO of Airbus SE from 2012 to 2019 and held various leadership roles at Airbus and EADS. He studied Economics, Political Science, and History at the University of Bonn and the University of California, Los Angeles.
