Allen R. Hartman, age 73, serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Chairman, and President of Hartman Advisors LLC and REIT Property Management, LLC. He founded Hartman Management in 1984, focusing on private real estate investment programs and commercial property management in Texas. Hartman merged his real estate programs to establish Hartman Commercial Properties REIT, now Whitestone REIT, where he was CEO and Chairman until 2006. In 2008, he founded Hartman Income REIT (HIREIT) and contributed assets and operations to its subsidiary. Hartman has acquired over 90 commercial properties, raised more than $300 million in investor equity, and manages 12 commercial properties totaling over one million square feet. He studied Business Administration at the University of Colorado and has been a director of Silver Star since 2012. John G. Ostroot, age 89, has been an Independent Director since February 2016. He has served as an independent director of Hartman Income REIT, Inc. since January 2008 and Hartman Short Term Income Properties XIX, Inc. since July 2009. Ostroot was president of EGC Corporation and 3P USA Inc., subsidiaries of Plastic Omnium, Inc., from 1994 until his retirement in 2000, overseeing accounting officers and financial statement preparation and audits. After retirement, he took a leadership role in the Fluoropolymers Division of the Society of Plastics Industries and serves on its Executive Committee as Past Chairman. He received the Whitney Bro Lifetime Achievement Award from DuPont in 2005 for over 45 years in the fluoropolymer industry.
