Officers & Directors
Robert Ragusa, age 66, has served as Chief Executive Officer since October 2021 and as a Director since June 2024. His previous roles include Chief Operations Officer at Illumina (2013–2021), Executive Vice President at Accuray Incorporated (2010–2013), and Senior Vice President at Applied Biosystems (1997–2005). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Twist Bioscience Corporation since 2016. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering, an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut, and an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University.
Aaron Freidin, age 47, has been Chief Financial Officer since November 2021. He held various positions at GRAIL from 2016, including Senior Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Finance, and Corporate Controller. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Corporate Controller at Counsyl, led SEC Reporting and Revenue at Cepheid, and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) and holds a B.A. in business management from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Joshua Ofman, M.D., MSHS, age 61, has been President since June 2021. He served as Chief Medical Officer and held other leadership roles at the company from 2019 to 2022. He has served on the boards of two privately held biotechnology companies and spent over 15 years at Amgen as Senior Vice President, Global Value, Access and Policy. He was a faculty member at UCLA School of Medicine and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Senior Vice President of Zynx Health Inc. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.D. from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, and an MSHS from UCLA School of Public Health.
