Evogene's executive leadership includes Mr. Ofer Haviv, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director. He joined the company in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer, became CEO in 2004, and serves as Chairperson of the boards of subsidiaries Lavie Bio and Biomica. He is scheduled to assume the role of CEO at Casterra starting April 1, 2026. Mr. Haviv is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Yaron Eldad has been Chief Financial Officer since April 2022 and will conclude his employment in March 2026. He has 25 years of CFO experience in technology and biotechnology companies, including Yamba Group International Ltd., Recoly NV, and e-Sim Ltd. Mr. Eldad serves on the board of B.O.S. Better Online Solutions Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from Ben-Gurion University, an Executive MBA from Hebrew University, and a Master of Arts in law from Bar-Ilan University. Ms. Polina Ravzin has served as Vice President of Finance since February 2022 and is designated to become CFO following Mr. Eldad's departure. She previously held positions as controller and assistant CFO at DSIT Solutions Ltd. and Acorn Energy Inc. Ms. Ravzin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel. Dr. Gabi Tarcic has been Vice President of Product and Chief Development Officer since January 2026. He has extensive research and development and senior executive experience in biotechnology, having served as Chief Technology Officer at Fore Biotherapeutics and Baobab Therapeutics IL Ltd. Dr. Tarcic holds a Ph.D. and Master of Science in biology from The Weizmann Institute of Science. Dr. Ilia Zhidkov has served as Vice President of Computational Platform and Chief Technology Officer since January 2026. He joined Evogene in 2011 as a bioinformatician and has held various managerial roles within the company. Dr. Zhidkov holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Ben-Gurion University.
