Uzi Sofer, age 56, serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, and Director. He co-founded the company in 2015. Previously, he was CEO and director of Brainsway Ltd. (NASDAQ: BWAY) from 2003 to 2014, also serving as CFO until 2010. He has held CEO, CFO, and chairman positions in various companies over more than two decades. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and Information Systems from the Lev Institute.
Raphi Levy, age 41, has been Chief Financial Officer since 2019. He worked at Goldman Sachs in investment banking from 2006 to 2019, most recently as Executive Director for healthcare banking in Israel. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Wharton and B.S.E. and M.S.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Prof. Yona Keisari, age 79, has been Chief Scientific Officer since 2019 and is a co-founder of Alpha Tau. He invented Alpha DaRT technology in 2003. He was a faculty member and Full Professor at Tel Aviv University until 2015 and holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health.
Robert Den, M.D., age 47, has been Chief Medical Officer since 2019, specializing in radiation oncology. He is an associate professor at Jefferson University and holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Yale University and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
Amnon Gat, age 51, has been Chief Operations Officer since 2018. He previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and Vice President of Operations. He has over 20 years of experience in the medical device and healthcare industries, with prior roles at Brainsway Ltd. (NASDAQ: BWAY), OSG Optimal Strategix Group, Inc., and Truphatek International Ltd.
