Norma Ka Yin Chu, age 44, is the Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairwoman of the Group, which she founded in 2012. She has held the roles of Chairwoman and CEO since the company's inception. Prior to this, she was Head of Research at HSBC Private Bank in Hong Kong from 2010 to 2012. She co-founded Founders HK in 2020 and serves as President of the Greater Bay Young Entrepreneurship Association. She is also the Founder of Good Food Movement (2018) and holds board memberships with YPO North Asia Regional, Hong Kong Shanghai Youth Association, and Shanghai Hong Kong Association. Additionally, she is a member of the Technology and Innovation Subsector of the Election Committee of Hong Kong SAR for 2021. Ms. Chu earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in 2004 and completed the executive general management program GMP 35 at Harvard Business School in 2023.
Kyu Ho Kok, age 51, is Chief of Staff. He is Co-founder and Managing Partner at Initial Ventures, focusing on early-stage blockchain investments. He has over 20 years of experience in fund portfolio management and digital asset investments. Previously, he was Managing Director at CPP Investments, leading Thematic Investing in Asia on disruptive technologies including blockchain and artificial intelligence. He founded and served as CIO of Wuzhu Asia Partners and held senior investment roles at hedge funds including Kingdon Capital. Mr. Kok holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Ethan Yong Kang Yu, age 32, is Principal Financial Officer. Since September 2020, he has held key financial management and capital raising roles at DayDayCook and was promoted in November 2024 to lead the finance function for the group. From 2018 to July 2020, he worked at BakerTilly International Certified Public Accountants in Shanghai, assisting clients with IPOs. He holds a bachelor's degree from Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University, obtained in 2018.
George Lai, age 49, is an Independent Director. He has served as Chief Financial Officer of The9 Limited (NASDAQ: NCTY) since July 2008 and has been a board member since January 2016. He is also an independent non-executive director and chairman of the compensation committee of Qingdao Port International Co., Ltd. (SEHK: 06198). Previously, he worked at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu from 2000 onward in Hong Kong, New York, and Beijing, focusing on IPO audits and accounting matters. Mr. Lai holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and accounting qualifications from AICPA, FCCA, and HKICPA.
Matthew Gene Mouw, age 64, is an Independent Director. He was Regional President for Asia, Africa, and Australia at Barilla G. e R. Fratelli S.p.A. from 2011 to 2015. He has also held roles at Groupe Danone in General Management and Mars Incorporated in sales and marketing. Mr. Mouw has experience as an investor and advisor to FMCG start-ups in China and the USA. From 2006 to 2008, he served as Vice President at China Huiyuan Juice (SEHK: 1886), responsible for strategic planning prior to its Hong Kong listing.
