Officers & Directors
1. David Rainer - Chairman:
David Rainer has over 40 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. He has been with CU Bancorp since 2001 and has served as Chairman since 2010. Prior to joining CU Bancorp, Mr. Rainer was the Nevada State President of Bank of America.
2. Sean Foley - President and CEO:
Sean Foley has been the President and CEO of CU Bancorp since 2012. Before joining CU Bancorp, Foley was the President and CEO of Santa Barbara Bank & Trust for nearly a decade.
3. Rima Berzin - Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer:
Rima Berzin joined CU Bancorp in 2011 and has been the CFO since 2013. Berzin has decades of finance and accounting experience in the financial services industry, including at Bank of America and Countrywide Financial.
4. Peggy McElveen - Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer:
Peggy McElveen has over 30 years' experience in credit and risk management. Before joining CU Bancorp in 2017 as Chief Credit Officer, she was with Pacific Premier Bank in several leadership positions, including Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Credit Officer.
5. M. Erica Folden - Independent Director:
M. Erica Folden is an experienced financial services attorney and has served as independent director of CU Bancorp since 2010. She is currently EVP and General Counsel of Mercury Insurance Group.
6. William Chadwick - Independent Director:
William Chadwick has been an independent director of CU Bancorp since 2001. He is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant, with over 45 years' experience in the legal and financial industries.
7. Elizabeth D. Keadle - Independent Director:
Elizabeth D. Keadle joined CU Bancorp's board of directors in 2011. She has more than 25 years' experience in investment banking, including at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
8. Rick Matsuno - Independent Director:
Rick Matsuno has been an independent director of CU Bancorp since 2007. He is the retired Chairman of the Board for C&B Operations, a John Deere dealership group, and has over 40 years' experience in finance and accounting.
