Vivek Ranadivé, age 67, serves as Chairman of the Board and President. He founded Teknekron Software Systems, Inc. in 1986 and TIBCO in 1997, and has been Founder and Managing Director of Bow Capital since 2016. He has been Owner and Chairman of the Sacramento Kings since 2013. Ranadivé holds degrees from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Daven Patel, age 36, is Chief Executive Officer and Director. He joined Bow Capital in 2020 as Principal, leading growth and private equity investing efforts. Patel previously held positions at Goldman Sachs, TIBCO, and Dialpad. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
James Chan, age 46, is Chief Financial Officer. With over 20 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and multinational corporations, he has served as CFO of Bow Capital since 2024. Chan also serves as CFO of First Spark Ventures, Breakout Ventures, and BankTech Ventures. He was CFO of Yamaha Motor Ventures from 2019 to 2022 and held senior finance roles at ASSA ABLOY, Beats by Dre, and Zodiac Aerospace. He holds a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and dual Bachelor of Science degrees from UCLA.
Raymond Dong, age 30, is Chief Investment Officer. He was Principal at Bow Capital from 2021 to January 2026, focusing on venture technology investments. Previously, Dong was an analyst at Senator Investment Group from 2018 to 2021 and a consultant at McKinsey from 2016 to 2018. He has served as a board member at National Security Group, Inc.
