Oki Matsumoto, age 62, has served as Non-Executive Director and Lead Non-Executive Director of Coincheck Parent since June 27, 2026. He is the founder and Chairman of Monex and holds directorships in several Monex subsidiaries. Matsumoto has been an outside director of Mastercard, Incorporated since 2016 and is a board member emeritus of Human Rights Watch. His previous roles include outside director of the Tokyo Stock Exchange from 2008 to 2013 and member of the Financial Counsel to the Prime Minister of Japan. He began his career at Salomon Brothers and Goldman, Sachs & Co. (1990–1998), serving as General Partner from 1994 to 1998, before founding Monex, Inc. in 1999. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Tokyo.
Takashi Oyagi, age 57, has been Executive Director and Executive Chairperson of Coincheck Parent since June 27, 2026. He is a founding member of Monex and serves on its board of directors. Oyagi chairs the boards of TradeStation Group, Inc. and 3iQ Digital Holdings Inc. Since April 2025, he has served on the board of managers at WMS General Partner LLC. His previous experience includes Director at Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. (2004–2007) and employment at Goldman Sachs (Japan) Ltd. (1998–1999). He began his finance career at the Bank of Japan in 1991. Oyagi holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Pascal St-Jean, age 45, has been Executive Director and President and Chief Executive Officer of Coincheck Parent since April 1, 2026. He was Chief Growth Officer of Coincheck Parent from November 2025 to March 2026. St-Jean has held senior roles at 3iQ Digital Holdings and 3iQ Corp., including President (November 2021–March 2026), CEO (since May 2024), and director (since April 2025). He co-founded Synergiq Solutions (2013–2017) and was managing partner of Citadel Rock Online Communities (2008–2013). From 2018 to 2022, he was founding partner of Futuring and co-founder of STAND Advisors. He served as a strategic advisor to various organizations from 1998 to 2022.
