Officers & Directors
1. Jay D. Debertin - President and Chief Executive Officer: Mr. Debertin has served on the CHS Board of Directors since 2011 and as the President and CEO since 2017. Prior to this, he held various leadership positions in CHS and Cargill, an agribusiness and food company.
2. Olivia Nelligan - Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer: Ms. Nelligan is the principal financial officer of CHS.
3. Daniel Lehmann - Senior Vice President, Finance, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer: Mr. Lehmann serves as the principal accounting officer for CHS.
4. Timothy N. Skidmore - Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO: Mr. Skidmore has been with CHS since 2013 and oversees the company’s financial and accounting functions. Previously, he served as the CFO of Tennant Company, a manufacturer of cleaning equipment and solutions.
5. Rick Dusek - Executive Vice President, Propane: Mr. Dusek has been with CHS since 1984 and has held various leadership roles, including serving as the President of CHS Propane. He oversees the company’s propane business.
6. John Engelen - Executive Vice President, Ag Business: Mr. Engelen joined CHS in 2020 and currently oversees CHS’s Ag Business that includes Inputs, Processing and Food Ingredients, and Commodities. Prior to joining CHS, he held leadership positions at Cargill.
7. Gary Halvorson - Executive Vice President, Human Resources: Mr. Halvorson joined CHS in 2015 and is responsible for the company’s human resources strategies and programs. He has over 25 years of experience in HR management and previously held positions at Tennant Company and Delta Air Lines.,
