Officers & Directors
S. Bryan Cook, age 74, has served as Executive Chairman of the Company and the Bank since 2024. He previously held the positions of Chairman, President and CEO, Board member, and COO of the Bank. He is the great-grandson of the founder.
John “JR” Ross, age 55, has been President and CEO of the Company and the Bank since April 2024 and has served as a director since 2021. He was formerly COO of the Company and worked nearly 20 years at J.P. Morgan Chase.
James K. Ciroli, age 61, has been Executive Vice President and CFO since June 2025. His prior roles include EVP and CFO of Flagstar Bancorp, Inc. (2014–2022), Senior VP and Corporate Controller at First Niagara Financial Group, Inc. (2009–2014), Senior VP and Assistant Controller at Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (2002–2009), and positions at KeyCorp and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Daniel H. Westhues, age 55, has served as Senior EVP and Chief Customer Officer since February 2025. He joined the Company in 1993 and has held roles in retail sales, operations, marketing, product development, and customer technology, most recently as Chief Retail and Marketing Officer (2014–2025).
Eric Hallgren, age 42, has been Executive VP and Chief Credit Officer since July 2024. He was previously Chief Credit Officer and Director of Credit Underwriting at First Banks, Inc.
Jeremy W. Colbert, age 49, has served as Executive VP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary since September 2023. He was previously Senior VP and Legal Counsel at Enterprise Bank & Trust (2017–2023), General Counsel for St. Louis Bank (2010–2017), and held roles in private practice.
Russell “Russ” L. Goldammer, age 69, has been Executive VP and Chief Information Officer since October 2021 and Chief Technology Officer of the Bank. He was previously President and CEO of Central Technology Services since 2009 and CIO at First Banks, Inc.
Scott M. Kellett, age 57, has served as Executive VP of Wealth Management since December 2015. He was formerly Senior VP of Trust and Asset Management and began his career at Boone County National Bank in 1995.
Carey D. Schoeneberg, age 49, has been Senior VP and Chief Risk Officer since January 2021. Prior roles include Vice President, Asset Liability Management (2014–2020). She joined the Company in 2008 and has held various risk management positions.
Tristan A. Thompson, age 43, has served as Senior VP and Chief Commercial Banking Services and Payments Officer since January 2025. He was previously Payments Strategy Director at Arvest Bank (2021–2025) and Senior VP and Payments Group Manager at UMB Bank (2017–2021).
