Bridgford Foods's Comment on Sales, Marketing and Customers



During fiscal year 2025, the company increased its production of private label products in response to higher consumer demand for affordable non-branded items amid rising inflation and costs. It supplies many of the country's largest broadline and specialty food service distributors, which are subject to extensive qualification procedures. The frozen food products division serves both food service and retail customers, offering approximately 130 unique frozen food products through around 820 wholesalers, cooperatives, and distributors. Food service customers include restaurants, health care providers, schools, hotels, resorts, corporations, and other traditional and non-traditional food service outlets. Growth in the food service industry is supported by increased away-from-home meal preparation and the expansion of non-traditional food service outlets. The company employs multiple distribution channels based on customer requirements, product type, and delivery efficiency, regularly assessing the profitability and cost-effectiveness of its delivery methods.
