Tad Smith joined Sotheby's as CEO on . Prior to this, he was the President and CEO of Cablevision Systems Corporation, a leading media and telecommunications company. He is also the former CEO of Reed Business Information, and was a member of the executive committee of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 2008 to 2011.
