Andrew Leaver, age 58, is Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Arqit, appointed CEO in September 2024 after serving as Chief Operating Officer from July to September 2024. He has been an Operating Partner at Notion Capital since February 2020 and was a Partner at Crane Venture Partners from 2016 to 2019. His previous leadership roles include positions at GE and involvement in multiple IPOs at Ariba, SuccessFactors, Bazaarvoice, Workday, and Hortonworks. Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, age 71, serves as Senior Independent Director and Vice Chairman of Arqit. He is Chairman of Heritage Group and was Executive Chairman of Silversea Cruises from 2001 to 2020, during which time the company expanded significantly. Heritage Group sold a majority stake in Silversea Cruises to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in 2018 and acquired Abercrombie & Kent in 2019. He is Executive Chairman of A&K Travel Group Ltd and holds leadership positions in the Monaco Chamber of Shipping and the World Travel and Tourism Council. He has been awarded Knight of the Order of Saint Charles and Grimaldi and serves as Honorary Consul of Ecuador in Monaco.
Carlo Calabria, age 65, is a Director of Arqit with nearly 40 years of experience in financial services. He founded CMC Capital Limited, an investment banking boutique, and has held senior roles at Barclays, Credit Suisse, and Merrill Lynch. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions and holds a Master of Arts (Honors) in Economics from Rome University, La Sapienza.
