Apogee operates in targeted end markets with a focus on customer needs to differentiate its offerings and delivery models. The company’s Architectural Metals Segment designs, engineers, and fabricates aluminum windows, curtainwall, storefront, and entrance systems. It also extrudes aluminum and provides finishing services for metal components used in various building materials applications. Products and services in this segment are marketed under the Tubelite®, EFCO, Wausau, and Linetec® brands in the United States and under the Alumicor™ brand in Canada. The Performance Surfaces Segment includes the business acquired from UW Interco, LLC (UW Solutions), which generated $100 million in revenue and achieved an adjusted EBITDA margin of at least 20% in its first year. Apogee implements initiatives such as the Apogee Management System (AMS) and Project Fortify 2 to improve manufacturing and service outcomes by enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service levels and lead times.
