The Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) segment delivers advanced composite solutions for aerospace and defense applications, including commercial, defense, space-launch vehicles, and advanced air mobility markets. AEC's largest aerospace customer is SAFRAN Group, accounting for approximately 15% of consolidated net revenues in 2025, primarily supplying fan blades and cases for CFM's LEAP engine used on Airbus A320neo, A321neo, Boeing 737 MAX, and COMAC 919 aircraft. Other significant AEC programs include the CH-53K helicopter, F-35 fighter jet, JASSM missile, Boeing 787 aircraft, Beta Alia, and various commercial, defense, space, and advanced air mobility projects. AEC also provides vacuum waste tanks for most Boeing commercial aircraft and fan cases for the GE9X engine on Boeing 777 aircraft. Approximately 35% of AEC segment revenues in 2025 derive from U.S. government contracts.
