Prior to this, he served as CEO of Sompo P&C from April 2025, CEO and Executive Chairman of Sompo International Holdings Ltd. from September 2021 until April 2025, after which he remained Executive Director. He was also CEO of the Overseas Insurance and Reinsurance Business at Sompo Holdings, Inc. Previously, Shea was CEO of Zurich Insurance Group’s Global Commercial Insurance Business and a member of its Executive Committee from 2016 to 2021, and served as President of Global Financial Lines before that.
