Twin Vee Powercats Co's Comment on Supply Chain

The company sources product parts and components, including fiberglass, hydrocarbon feedstocks, steel, engines, and electronic controls, from third-party suppliers. The engine is the most significant cost component in manufacturing gas-powered boats. The company maintains a long-standing relationship with its primary engine supplier, Suzuki Motor of America, Inc., and purchases motors from three different manufacturers. It does not have long-term contracts with preferred suppliers, relying instead on informal arrangements and off-the-shelf purchases. Temporary shortages have occurred due to manufacturers adjusting model mixes, introducing new product lines, or limiting production in response to reduced boat demand; however, no material shortages have been reported. Significant customers, such as dealers, can represent a large portion of sales, with two dealers accounting for 27% of sales in 2025 and three dealers accounting for 40% in 2024.
