It acquired a five-acre greenhouse facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, known as Edible Garden Heartland, which produces herb products and functions as a research and development center. The company distributes products through over 50 retail partners using its own fleet and independent shipping operators, with a goal of delivering products within 24 hours of harvest. Plans to optimize logistics include transitioning to more energy-efficient vehicles and increasing backhauls. Shelf-stable products are distributed via third-party co-manufacturers who ship directly to retail partners and e-commerce channels, enabling a broader product assortment without additional cold-chain logistics investment.
