Rogers Communications Inc. Raises US$2.5 Billion through Senior Notes Offering TORONTO, Feb. 07, 2024 - Leading Canadian telecommunications company, Rogers Communications Inc. (TSX: RCI.A and RCI.B) (NYSE: RCI), has announced the pricing of a public offering for two series of US dollar senior notes totaling US$2.5 billion. The proceeds from the issuance are expected to be approximately US$2.46 billion. The offering includes US$1.25 billion of 5.00% senior notes due 2029 and US$1.25 billion of 5.30% senior notes due 2034. It is anticipated that the net proceeds will be used to repay certain outstanding debts, including a portion of the borrowings from Rogers Communications term loan facility, which was utilized for the acquisition of Shaw Communications Inc. The closing of the sale of the Notes is expected to take place on February 9, 2024.
