AES Ohio serves customers in the Dayton region through its subsidiary Miami Valley Lighting, which provides street and outdoor lighting services. AES Ohio holds a 4.9% interest in Ohio Valley Electric Corporation (OVEC), an electric generating company operating two generating stations in Cheshire, Ohio, and Madison, Indiana. OVEC's combined nameplate generation capacity is 2,390 MW, with AES Ohio's share totaling 117 MW. As of December 31, 2025, DPL and its subsidiaries employed 721 people, all employed by AES Ohio. Approximately 64% of DPL employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement set to expire on October 31, 2026. AES Ohio and its subsidiaries prioritize safety and talent management to maintain reliable service for customers.
