The company serves domestic Mass Markets customers through a highly interconnected communications network that enables rapid adjustment of digital programs to meet demand, improve efficiencies, accelerate market access, and reduce costs. On May 21, 2025, the company and its affiliates agreed to sell their Mass Markets Fiber-to-the-Home business in 11 states to AT&T, completing the sale on February 2, 2026, for $5.75 billion. The company maintains cash management and intercompany financing arrangements with its ultimate parent company, Lumen Technologies, Inc., and its direct parent, Qwest Services Corporation. It operates one reportable segment and prioritizes communication with stakeholders including investors, employees, customers, vendors, partners, and local communities. As of December 31, 2025, the company employed approximately 9,100 individuals, with about 43% represented by the Communications Workers of America or the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
