The Bitcoin Custodians maintain a commercial crime insurance policy covering client asset losses in cold storage; however, this insurance is shared among all customers and may not fully protect the Trust. The Trust's bitcoin held by the Bitcoin Custodians remains its property and is not used for loans, pledges, leverage, or derivatives. In the event of a blockchain fork, the Bitcoin Custodians may suspend services and determine which fork to support, making efforts to assist the Trust in recovering assets related to forks or airdrops, but they assume no liability for unsupported forks or protocol operations.
