Our platforms first focus was on software developers, who are the owners and architects of the digital experiences of customers and organizations. Our platform is designed to locate, adopt, and scale with a speedy return on investment ("ROI") for our users in order to promote acceptance and build confidence among the developer community.
We generate money mostly through cloud-hosted subscription fees. We also profit from term-license software subscription costs. We have a land-and-expand business strategy that results in viral product acceptance and subsequent expansion. Our online self-service concept is the major vehicle for acquiring new clients and allowing teams to get started quickly. We supplement our self-service strategy with high-velocity inside sales geared for small and medium-sized enterprises, a commercial team geared toward mid-market customers, and a field sales team geared toward enterprise customers. Today, the majority of our income comes from mid-market and business clients. These teams promote user growth, new use cases, and add-on items, as well as the upsell to higher-value plans.
