Raymond Threlkeld, B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Nevada, serves as Chairman and Director. He has over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration, mine operations, construction, and executive management. Threlkeld was inducted into the U.S. National Mining Hall of Fame in 2020 and has held leadership positions at New Found Gold Corp., Calibre Mining, Newmarket Gold, Kirkland Lake Gold, Northern Empire, Rainy River Resources, Western Goldfields, Barrick Gold, and Coeur Mining.
Sandeep Singh, B.Eng. and MBA, is Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director. He joined Western as CEO in February 2024 and was appointed President in December 2024. Singh previously served as President and CEO of Osisko Gold Royalties and has 15 years of investment banking experience in the metals and mining sector. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University and an MBA from Oxford University.
Robert J. Chausse, B.Comm., CPA, is a Director with over 30 years of international finance experience in mining. He was CFO of New Gold prior to retirement and currently serves as a director of Revival Gold. Chausse has also held roles as CFO of Richmont Mines and Stornoway Diamonds, EVP and CFO of AuRico Gold, and Vice President of Finance, Operations, and Projects for Kinross.
