His experience in the shipping and cruise industry includes CEO positions at Bergen Line and Royal Viking Line, board memberships at Holland America Line/HAL Holding N.V. and Kloster Cruise Ltd., and a partnership at McKinsey & Company in Europe. He holds a degree in physics from the Norwegian Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
Leah Talactac, aged 48, has been President and Chief Financial Officer since 2006. She is responsible for corporate accounting, financial reporting, capital markets, executive committee leadership, corporate governance, and board relations. Linh Banh, aged 46, has served as Executive Vice President, Finance since 2006, overseeing worldwide corporate financial planning and analysis. Her prior roles include Assistant Controller at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., and senior associate at Ernst & Young LLP. She holds a B.A. in business economics with a minor in accounting from UCLA.
Jeff Dash, aged 56, is Executive Vice President, Head of Business Development, having originally joined Viking in 2001. He manages worldwide ocean fleet operations and sales and marketing for China. His background includes senior positions at Legend Media, Xyience, Inc., Princess Cruise Lines, and Renaissance Cruises. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Florida International University.
Karine Hagen, aged 55, is Director and Executive Vice President, Product, and the daughter of Torstein Hagen. She is responsible for branding and product development and has served multiple terms on the board of directors, rejoining in 2025. Her previous experience includes roles at Arthur Andersen, J. Walter Thompson, Genesys, and Telenor. She holds degrees in Soviet Studies and Economics from Wellesley College, an M.A. in Russia and East European Studies from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from BI Norwegian Business School.
Anton Hofmann, aged 64, has been Executive Vice President, Group Operations since 1998, overseeing worldwide river fleet operations. He has 35 years of cruise industry experience and prior hotel management roles. From 1993 to 1997, he was operations manager for I.C.H. International Cruise and Hotel Management.
