Dr. Athena Countouriotis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Turning Point Therapeutics. She has more than 20 years of clinical and drug development experience, including serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Development at Halozyme Therapeutics. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at Pfizer and Sanofi-Synthelabo. Dr. Countouriotis is a Board Certified hematologist and oncologist and earned her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Siegfried Reich is the Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of Turning Point Therapeutics. He has over 25 years of experience in oncology drug discovery and development and has held leadership positions at biopharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Eli Lilly. Dr. Reich received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cologne, Germany.
Ms. Yi Larson is the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Turning Point Therapeutics. She has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting and has held leadership positions at various biopharmaceutical companies such as Halozyme Therapeutics and Ligand Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Larson received her MBA from the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Mark Velleca is the Chairman of the Board of Turning Point Therapeutics. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Achillion Pharmaceuticals and as Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Velleca earned his M.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Paul Biondi is a member of the Board of Directors of Turning Point Therapeutics. He is currently an Executive in Residence at Frazier Healthcare Partners and has held executive positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Biogen, and GlaxoSmithKline. Mr. Biondi earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Mark Foletta is a member of the Board of Directors of Turning Point Therapeutics. He has over 20 years of experience in commercializing pharmaceutical and biotechnology products and has held leadership positions at companies such as Actavis and Forest Laboratories. Mr. Foletta received his MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
Mr. Neil R. Gibson is a member of the Board of Directors of Turning Point Therapeutics. He is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Shire Pharmaceuticals and has held senior leadership positions at Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline.
