Xiaofeng Denton Peng, age 50, serves as Director, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Executive Officer, holding the CEO position since June 2023 and Chairman since December 2020. He is also Director and Executive Chairman of SPI Energy Co., Ltd. since 2011 and CEO since 2016. Peng founded LDK Solar Co., Ltd. in 2005 and Suzhou Liouxin Co., Ltd. in 1997. He holds a diploma in international business from Jiangxi Foreign Trade School and an executive MBA from Beijing University Guanghua School of Management. Michael Yung, age 60, has been Chief Financial Officer since April 2024. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and CFO at Pingtan Marine Enterprise Ltd. from 2015 to 2023, Managing Director of Terra Nova Natural Resources from 2008 to 2013, and held senior roles at European American Capital, UBS Paine Webber, and Citicorp Investment Services. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and finance from the New York Institute of Technology. Lewis W. Liu, age 62, has served as Chief Operating Officer since April 2024. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of Operations and Senior Vice President of Vehicle Program & Business Development since July 2022. From 2019 to 2022, he was Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Karma Automotive. Liu was a founding team member at AiKar and held leadership roles at Faraday Future and KPMG Advisory (China). He holds a Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Mississippi, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Beijing Polytechnic University. HoongKhoeng Cheong, age 59, has been a director since December 2020 and Chief Operating Officer of SPI Energy Co., Ltd. since May 2014. He has over 20 years of experience in the solar and electronics industries and held management roles at LDK from 2011 to 2014.
