Oğuz Alper Öktem, age 34, serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director. He founded Marti in September 2018 and has been its CEO and Chairperson of the Board since inception. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of BluTV, a Türkiye-based streaming service acquired by Warner Bros Discovery, and worked at Deutsche Bank in London. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MSc in Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
Cankut Durgun, age 39, is President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director. He co-founded Marti and has been COO since June 2025 and President since December 2018. He was co-founder and general partner at venture capital firms Aslanoba Capital and Romulus Capital. He holds a BS in Economics and Management Science from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University.
Cenk Özeker, age 58, has been Chief Financial Officer since May 2025. His previous roles include senior finance and managing director positions at Newport Shipping UK, Icron Software, Pepsi, Beymen, H.Ö. Sabancı Holding, and Unilever. He holds a BA in Economics from Istanbul University and an MBA from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Daniel Freifeld, age 45, is an Independent Director and Chief Investment Officer of Callaway Capital Management, LLC, which he founded in 2013. He previously served as Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State and program coordinator at the U.S. Department of Defense. He holds a BA in political science from Emory University and a JD from New York University School of Law.
Kerry Healey, age 65, is an Independent Director with experience in government, politics, higher education, corporate governance, and non-profits. She currently serves as an Independent Director at Apollo Global Management (NYSE: APO).
