Mark Litton, Ph.D., age 58, serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director. Javier San Martin, M.D., age 61, has been Chief Medical Officer since April 2024. He previously held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals from November 2019 to January 2024, was Senior Vice President and Head of Global Clinical Development at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical from 2013 to 2019, Senior Vice President of Clinical Development at Alder Biopharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2013, and held roles at Amgen and Eli Lilly. He earned his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School. Kevin Church, Ph.D., age 41, has been Chief Scientific Officer since January 2023 and held various roles at the company since 2016. He earned a Ph.D. in molecular biosciences from Washington State University in 2016 and a B.S. in microbiology from the University of Idaho in 2006. Mark Worthington, age 59, has served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary since June 2021. He was previously a partner at Summit Law Group from 1997 to 2021. He earned his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 1993 and a B.A. from Stanford University in 1988. Robert Renninger, age 42, has been Chief Financial Officer since December 2025. Prior to this, he was senior vice president of finance and accounting from February to December 2025, vice president of finance from January 2022 to February 2025, senior director of finance from September 2020 to January 2022, and director of finance from July to September 2020.
