Terran Orbital's Comment on Supply Chain

The company utilizes raw materials and components to assemble, test, and operate satellites, as well as to support design, development, maintenance, and repair functions. Controlling manufacturing costs for satellites and other products is important for profitability. The company faces risks associated with financing, opening, and operating new or expanded manufacturing facilities, which may encounter delays or exceed budget. As of December 31, 2023, the company had a contract backlog of $2.7 billion; however, many contracts are cancellable by customers, and some are unfunded or scheduled for future periods, which may impact revenue recognition. Fluctuations in backlog, cancellations, and funding uncertainties present risks to revenue and gross margins. Effective management of growth is necessary to prevent adverse effects on the company's business and financial condition.
