He founded Morphogenesis Biopharma, Inc. and CTI Biopharma, Inc., where he was CEO from 1992 to 2016. Dr. Bianco holds an M.D. from Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine and completed residencies and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
Dan Dearborn, age 59, has been Chief Financial Officer since the Kintara Merger and joined Legacy TuHURA in 2018. He is a CPA with over 25 years of experience in healthcare and biotech finance. His previous roles include CFO at MYMD Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and positions at Ernst & Young, Pharmerica, BioDelivery Sciences International, and Welldyne, Inc.
James Manuso, Ph.D., MBA, age 77, has served as Director and Chairman of the Board since the Kintara Merger and has been a director of Legacy TuHURA since November 2022. He is Chairman and CEO of Talfinium Investments, Inc. since 2014 and managing member of Laurelside LLC since 2018. Dr. Manuso has served on the board of Ocuphire Pharma, Inc. since 2020. He was President, CEO, and Vice Chairman of RespireRx Pharmaceuticals Inc. from 2015 to 2018 and Chairman and CEO of Astex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2011 to 2013, leading its sale to Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. He has held multiple board chairmanships and advisory roles in various biotech companies.
