Aristidis Alafouzos, age 39, has served as Chief Executive Officer since December 2022. He was Chief Operating Officer from 2018 to December 2022, with eight years of experience at KMC. He holds degrees from Boston University and Bayes Business School and has been a board member of Gard P. & I. LTD since 2019. Ioannis Alafouzos, age 68, is Chairman and Director since the company's inception and served as Chief Executive Officer until December 2022. He has over 40 years of shipping experience, founded Kyklades Maritime Corporation’s tanker division, and holds an MA from Oxford University. Iraklis Sbarounis, age 40, has been Chief Financial Officer since January 2023. He was previously Group CFO at TMS Group, CFO and Director at Ocean Rig UDW, and began his career in investment banking at BNP Paribas. He holds degrees from MIT and the London School of Economics. Christopher Papaioannou, age 37, has been Chief Commercial Officer since May 2023. He started his career in KMC's chartering department and was Head of Chartering for OET Chartering Inc. since June 2018. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from New York University. Daniel Gold, age 58, has been a Director since inception and is founder and CEO of QVT Financial LP, an asset management company. He holds an A.B. in Physics from Harvard College and serves on the boards of Roivant Sciences Ltd. and Awilco Drilling PLC. Charlotte Stratos, age 71, has been a Director since inception and was Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division Global Transportation Group from 2008 to 2020.
