André Choulika, Ph.D., age 61, is Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder of Cellectis. He co-founded the company in 1999 and has served as CEO since its inception. He was Chairman of the board from 2011 to November 2020 and holds CEO and Chairman positions at Cellectis, Inc. and Cellectis Biologics, Inc. Dr. Choulika earned a Ph.D. in molecular virology from the University of Paris VI and completed a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
Adrian Kilcoyne, M.D., MPH, MBA, age 56, was appointed Chief Medical Officer in August 2024. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Celularity and Humanigen and held oncology leadership roles at AstraZeneca and Celgene. Dr. Kilcoyne graduated from Trinity College, Dublin Medical School and trained in Gynecological Oncology and Public Health Medicine.
Steven Doares, Ph.D., age 66, joined Cellectis in July 2020 as Senior Vice President of US Manufacturing. He oversees the Raleigh manufacturing facility and previously worked at Biogen, Inc. as Vice President of Global Manufacturing Sciences. Dr. Doares holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Georgia.
Philippe Duchateau, Ph.D., age 63, joined Cellectis in 2001 and has served as Chief Scientific Officer since 2012. He earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Institut Pasteur and completed a research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Duchateau is co-inventor of numerous patents and co-author of over 50 scientific publications.
Kyung Nam-Wortman, age 56, joined Cellectis in November 2020 as Chief Human Resources Officer.
