Cardinal NC was founded in 2013 by Jeremy Spivey, who serves as Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the board of directors. Spivey has over 30 years of experience in civil construction, focusing on land development and complex civil projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University.
Erik West has been Chief Operating Officer since 2016 and brings more than 21 years of experience managing multi-million dollar civil construction projects. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from North Carolina State University.
Mike Rowe has served as Chief Financial Officer since July 2019. His previous roles include partner and fractional CFO at Rankin McKenzie LLC, EVP, COO, and CFO at ING Source, Inc., CFO at Jones & Frank, and EVP and CFO at Carolina Handling. Rowe holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from North Carolina State University and is a CPA in North Carolina. He also holds certifications as a Certified Managerial Accountant, CFA certificate holder, and Accredited in Business Valuations. He is a member of the AICPA, North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Management Accountants.
Tiffany Gidley has been General Counsel and Secretary since May 2024. Prior to joining Cardinal NC, she was corporate counsel at David Allen Company, Inc. from July 2015 to May 2024. Gidley holds a juris doctor degree from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and a bachelor's degree in applied psychology from North Carolina State University.
